Shock Absorbent and Built in Support
The HAIX Black Eagle Athletic 10 Low is proven to be a durable boot with enough cushioning in the heel area to help absorb shock. The built in stone shield adds additional protection making sure you won’t harm your feet with any rock or stone in your path. Because when you’re on duty, you never know what you’re going to run into. And with strong spring-back material built into the forefoot it makes you more energy efficient by giving you an extra “spring” in your step. Hoping they hold up
I purchased these because I was looking for a shoe that was really waterproof and not saying that they are waterproof. I can say so far so good. The only thing problem I had was that the rubber all around the toe came unglued. I did purchase these on clearence as I wanted to see how they would hold up. I don't think this should happen on shoes that sell for $159 regularly. I can say that when I called about problem they decided to send me a replacement pair even though they didn't have to because they were clearence. So that was much appreciated. It's not like I'm walking around in puddles all day, most of the time they are dry. I decided to buy an additional pair again on clearence so I can rotate them and hopefully I won't have the same problem. I shouldn't have to glue my shoes back together and that's why I'm leary about paying full price . 9a499

Great shoes.
Great shoes. Durable and practical for work, running, and leisure. Shorter laces would make them better so there was not so much to tuck in.

Good For EMS
I bought these shoes as a summer shoe to work while on the rig. They are so nice that they have turned into my daily shoe. 8-14 hours on a medic is hard on my feet. Especially if I'm walking around a new hospital trying to find a room. Slips on and off easily, well cushioned, good traction, and matches the company dress policy. Will be ordering a second pair soon to wear to church/off duty. Get a pair~!

Tough and Somewhat comfortable shoe!
After you break them in, these shoes will take a beating! Tight at first but after a few wears, they will do a great job! You can wear them for hours at a time without over heating your feet.

Good for EMS
I bought these shoes to use on hot days on the medic. Walking all day for 8-12 hours and my feet dont get sore nor sweaty. They clean up nice and look nice with black/grey uniform. Getting a second pair for off-duty and church.

Great shoe for the money
I purchased these shoes over a year ago and have been wearing them ever since. I'm on my feet for a good 8-10 hours a day and they haven't let me down. Very comfortable and highly recommended.

I'm on my second pair!
I wear this shoe every day, not one problem, had my first pair for over a year, and I'm still wearing, just got my second pair. I also have the mid and my 11 year old son wears of his Lebruns. Love the shoe!

A relentless shoe that can Almost keep up!
Originally i thought they were a composite toe. They were not, but that was my mistake. I chose to wear them anyway and after wearing them i can say that my favorite features are the shoes lace system which holds tight all day, and is so simple. And the shoes solid sole design has saved me once or twice while walking on beams on a construction site, they held firm when i overstepped, also thank you for the extra wide tread design, it grips while running very well. The down side, is the stitching has broke loose in a few spots, and the padding on the side of the sole has "compression wrinkles". Not what i expect from any shoe considering im only 155 lbs and have owned for 2 months.

Comfortable and quality
Awesome for duty shoes while walking. I have both the black eagle low and the mid. The gortex leaves me with the confidence my feet will stay dry. They have been tested in rainy weather and my feet did remain dry. The most important part to me is the customer service. I found a defect a few months into wearing them and contacted them. Without hesitation or hassle they address the problem. On a scale from 1-10, I would give their customer service an 11. Thank you Haix, your service and products has made me a customer for as long as I need your products.

Cleaning & care Black eagle atheletic
My son wore his black eagle atheletic 10 low I. Several creeks this spring. They stink! What is the best way to clean them?

Please remove the insole and use warm water, a mild detergent like dish soap and a cloth or soft brush to clean the shoes. You may clean the insoles the same way or you may put the insoles in the washing machine.
After washing both, please set the shoes and insoles out separately in a well ventilated area to air dry. Please do not use heat to dry and do not put the shoes or insoles in the dryer.

Awesome shoes
I am buying another pair of shoes from Haix, they are great shoes for FIRE and EMS. I can not say enough good things about them. This will be my 3rd pair of this type of shoe, I have the short ones for summer and the talls ones for winter. they have kept my feet dry and warm in the crazy Wisconsin winters and cool in the summer. Great product can't wait to get my 3rd pair.

Gorgeous
These shoes are much more beautiful in real life. Picture gives no justice. So beautiful that I didn't wear them for a week. Putting it on the first time they feel hard but not uncomfortable. However after working 11 hours in them my feet feel awesome like I haven't been on them for more than 2-3 hours max. Also on uneven surfaces they are very stable. Highly recommended awesome shoes. Definitely buying other ones soon.

Excellence
I have had my Black Eagle Athletic 10 Low for a couple months now, and I love them. Waterproof, lightweight, easy on and off. They are built well. I work at an oil refinery and wanted these to wear in the summer time, at home and at work. They are holding up well. Only reason I am not giving these a 10 is where they are made at. MADE IN VIETNAM. Very disappointing not to see that "made in Germany" tag.
